Team Members Say & Do…

The team members and leadership are warm and welcoming, creating a great culture and a place I look forward to coming to each day.

I feel like management has your back if you have complications or if you need assistance, they will help. I feel management listens to me and cares about me as a person.

The company is always celebrating special days and making it fun for the employees!

I like how they make you feel welcome, and the administration is easy to interact with, in addition to the positive work environment and strong communication among employees.

The staff and management are amazing to work with.

Great place to work, people are honest, friendly, and fun to work!

Management genuinely cares about its employees.

I think what’s unique about this workplace is that there is so many different events that go on for employees to partake in such as food gatherings.

At Brookestone, everyone is very willing to help—even if you’ve never spoken to or met them.

I believe our company genuinely appreciates its employees.

Although I am a new team member, my experience here is beyond my expectations. Having experienced other places of employment, I have never felt so welcome and appreciated at a job. I have opportunities for growth not only in education but with my financial future. The component that I find so reassuring is the genuineness of the founders truly try to match words and actions. The atmosphere to work is rewarding because of that action. I feel it a privilege to serve and grateful for a company that does a nearly perfect job of taking care of employees and patients. On my first day I prayed that God would somehow show me that as an employee this facility would show a new appreciation for nurses and employees. I walked into the door and there {name redacted} was with several other employees welcoming and warm smiles all around. Every day at orientation was better and more welcoming, I had gourmet meals and genuinely welcoming activities. They seemed interested in all of us and each employee talked with us not down to us. Included us while sharing their experiences and role with Vetter. Truly amazing.

Our environment is lively and warm, and people can feel it. It makes for a great place to work. The longevity of our DON, ADONs, nurse liaison, social service workers, admissions, life enrichment, transportation, maintenance, housekeeping, and many others speaks volumes. The level of care is exceptional.

Daily stand-ups are important for communicating messages effectively. I also love that we are a facility for nursing students. The floor staff interact with residents as they take them to and from activities, hair appointments, and more. The culinary team provides well-balanced meals and keeps cafés stocked—they take great pride in their work. Life enrichment offers a wide range of daily activities and special events to engage residents. The use of meeting rooms within the facility for family gatherings is well received and appreciated. It feels good to work in an environment like this, with long-tenured leaders and employees.

My coworkers are my teammates who share the same goal, so we work well together. My residents are like family, and that is reflected in the care everyone provides—even if they may not see it the same way. We treat them as if they were our own family, and you can see the impact it has on their lives. My supervisors are also extremely understanding if you explain your situation, as they recognize that we are all human.

I love the Christian atmosphere—the warmth and love it gives.

The Life Enrichment team does a wonderful job providing activities for residents to participate in. Sometimes, they even provide things like free “coffee trucks” for staff, which is very kind. Employees are also recognized for going above and beyond by receiving “Yes I Can” cards, which can be exchanged for rewards.

Brookestone is like a home for residents and employees.

This company offers opportunities for continuing education and supports employees through loan repayment programs. I also appreciate the celebrations and how many people take a special interest in me as an individual, recognizing accomplishments at work and in life.

I really like working here because they are flexible when it comes to availability.

I have worked in many long-term care facilities, and I am so proud to work here. It feels like the small-town facilities of the past. Everyone is kind and helpful. We are here to do everything we can to help our residents and their families have the best possible experiences and to provide what they need.

The overall values of this company are amazing from the way employees are recognized to the community involvement and foundation work. Vetter Senior Living is an amazing company to be a part of!
